Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all aspects of international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across borders. 
• Address customer inquiry, provide the quotation on time, regular follow-up, book the order and ensure timely execution.
• Preparing and verifying import/export documents like bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin. 
• Ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, customs requirements, and relevant laws. 
• Working with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other logistics providers to arrange transportation and track shipments. 
• Maintaining communication with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and address any issues. 
• Negotiating freight rates, customs duties, and other costs to optimize overall expenses.
• Managing and optimizing costs associated with international trade, such as shipping costs, duties, and taxes.

  
Skill Set

• Strong understanding of import and export regulations and procedures

• Support the plant to build motors as per customer requirements and coordinate from Engineering side with plant.
• Collaborate and support Technical Services team for evaluation and resolution of Customer Complaints. 
• Provide timely solutions to technical queries from internal & external customers.

Job Description:

Design Engineer-I (Mechanical) is responsible for mechanical design & documentation for Prototypes & Production models, Plant & Customer Support. 

This position will also have responsibilities to lead or support projects (Transition, Cost Out, Regulatory driven projects) 

Support/Ownership of Mechanical Processing activities related to New Model Development.

• Execute Engineering Change Requests(ECR) to meet Customer/ Manufacturing requirement.
• Create 3D models, assembly drawings & Bill of Material for the product.
• Translate Customer requirements into Motor design parameters, provide optimum mechanical designs for Induction motor.
• Own the processes to establish and maintain the technical SOP’s to meet design and documentation needs.
• Interface with cross-functional teams like Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality and other functions as necessary to complete Changes, specifications & drawings.
• Support the plant to build motors as per customer requirements and coordinate from Engineering side with plant.
• Collaborate and support Technical Services team for evaluation and resolution of Customer Complaints. 
• Support Product Transition, Material Cost Out projects, New Product Development projects as needed.
• Provide timely solutions to technical queries from internal & external customers
